My work at BOC has been both challenging and rewarding. I’ve been involved in many projects, like the financial analysis of a large capital investment in Latin America, the development of a strategic plan for expanding an existing business, and implementing a new process to improving efficiency of plant operations.

Working for BOC’s business planning group is very similar to participating in a leadership development program. Senior business analysts are exposed to a range of business cases from BOC’s various business units. Working alongside other MBAs helps foster an environment of continual learning and creates a stimulating working environment. We’re given a great deal of responsibility, and work with people in upper management positions to develop various business solutions.

I chose BOC because I liked the diversity of work opportunities across various business functions and geographies. The variety of markets BOC serves, such as chemicals, petroleum, metals, electronics and food, also attracted me. But what was most important to me was the promise of immediate responsibility and challenging opportunities, combined with the support to grow and develop critical management skills. I have not been disappointed. I look forward to a continued exciting career with BOC.
