In the short time I’ve worked for BOC, I’ve gained more experience than I ever expected I would. The work I’ve done so far in two of my three rotations as a participant in the engineering skills development program has both challenged and excited me about continued opportunities with BOC.

My work in BOC’s food market sector gave me great hands-on experience. Every day I worked with equipment, testing new ways to improve BOC's existing technologies. I also was involved with the commercial side of the business, which allowed me to demonstrate the equipment to potential customers as well as to audit equipment at customer sites.

And my involvement in a large, fast-paced corporate project – the North American implementation of SAP’s enterprise resource planing software for BOC’s Process Gas Solutions line of business – has been a great learning experience. The project afforded me the opportunity to work with a variety of people throughout PGS, from plant employees to upper management, and also required me to assume multiple responsibilities – both of which have helped developed my understanding of the PGS business.
